Associate

Neil T. Devlin, Esq. is a member of the Business and Corporate Law, Death Care, Environmental, Workplace Safety and Utilities and Real Estate teams. He counsels funeral homes, cemeteries, crematories, and other businesses and professionals in general business matters, litigation and regulatory compliance. Neil also assists builders and developers, financial institutions and lenders, engineers, realtors, property owners and others with a range of realty related issues.

Before joining Saxton & Stump, Neil was a solo practitioner, representing businesses and individuals in contract, real estate, employment, insurance, and general business matters. Neil has negotiated real estate transactions and other contracts including Software-as-a-Service “SaaS” contracts, master service agreements and multi-million dollar subcontracting agreements. Neil previously did estate planning and administration for a Harrisburg, Pennsylvania law firm. An experienced litigator, Neil was also an Assistant District Attorney for Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, where he regularly litigated criminal trials to verdict and negotiated plea agreements.

Neil served as a law clerk for the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania and the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas, and held a judicial fellowship with the Honorable Mark A. Kearney in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.

Neil earned his J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law with a full-tuition merit scholarship and was awarded the Marshall-Brennan Constitutional Literacy Project Fellowship. Prior to law school, Neil earned a B.A. in Environmental Studies from the University of Pittsburgh and in Politics and Philosophy from the University Honors College.
