Senior Counsel

Sara Lynn Petrosky, Esq. represents physicians, hospitals and nursing homes focusing her practice on professional liability defense. She also advises facilities on mitigating risk and handling medical negligence claims.

Sara brings over 30 years of experience representing doctors, hospitals and other medical facilities and practitioners. She spent 25 years at a leading Philadelphia-based medical defense firm, focusing on representing the medical community in addition to handling products liability matters. Sara also briefly served as associate counsel for Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. She also served at a pair of top global litigation law firms including Pepper, Hamilton & Sheetz (now Troutman Pepper) and Morgan, Lewis & Bockius (now Morgan Lewis).

In the community, Sara has a track record of public service. She served as the executive director for the Philadelphia Bar Association’s Volunteers for Indigent Program that provides legal services to underserved communities. She has also served for 12 years on the Board of Commissioners of Nether Providence Township, Delaware County, including six years as President of the Board. Sara also served on the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s Commission on Women in the Profession, the Board of Family and Community Services of Delaware County, the Delaware County Open Space Committee, and the State Board of Medicine.

Sara, who is passionate about animals, served four years on the Board of Directors of the Lancaster Farm Sanctuary which rescues farmed animals and provides them sanctuary.
