Carie Reigel is the senior director of finance at Saxton & Stump after nearly two decades as an accountant and controller, working in the accounting, engineering, transportation, and consulting industries. She will lead the firm’s financial operations, and oversee cash flow management, expense control, analysis and reporting, large transaction analysis, and other high-level financial projects.
She has worked in leadership positions as a controller from 2018 to 2023, preparing budgets, and analyzing financial statements and monthly, quarterly, and year-end reports.
In 2022 and 2023, Carie worked as a controller at a consulting firm with numerous companies as an outsourced accounting team member. During her time there, she trained an internal team and allocated work to them, as well as establishing and maintaining standardized accounting procedures and processes. Carie also helped her clients with process improvements and technology upgrades.
Prior to her work as a controller, Carie worked for 13 years as a senior accountant at a central Pennsylvania accounting firm. She started her work in the firm’s small business department but later moved to its tax department. At the firm, she worked with clients on bookkeeping, financial statements, sales tax filing requirements, tax returns, tax planning, payroll processing, and 1099 filings.
Carie received her master’s degree in accounting from Liberty University and her undergraduate degree from Albright College.
