Gov. Tom Wolf has updated the list of businesses considered “life-sustaining” under the Governor’s March 19, 2020 order requiring non-life-sustaining businesses to close physical operations. Among the businesses now specifically permitted to operate are:
- accounting, tax preparation, bookkeeping, and payroll services
- traveler accommodation (hotels and motels)
- dry-cleaning and laundry
- industries in the agriculture, forestry, fishing and hunting and mining quarrying and oil and gas extraction sectors
- emergency construction repairs
