LANCASTER, Pa., January 4, 2024 — Saxton & Stump announced that two associate attorneys have been named senior counsel as of January 1st. Aubrey C. Emrich and Isabelle S. Young have been promoted in recognition of their hard work and incredible service to clients. Emrich works out of the firm’s Philadelphia office and is a member of the firm’s Commercial Litigation and Investigations and Criminal Defense Group. Young is also part of the Commercial Litigation and Investigations and Criminal Defense Groups and is based in the firm’s Charleston, S.C., office. Both joined the firm in 2022.

Emrich concentrates her practice on the defense of individuals and businesses in all stages of a criminal case, including investigations, trials, sentencing proceedings and appeals. She has handled federal and state criminal cases involving Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) conspiracies, wire and mail fraud, bank fraud, tax fraud, possession and distribution of narcotics, bank robbery and identity theft. She is also a member of the firm’s Education, Title IX and Litigation groups. Emrich earned her law degree at Rutgers University Law School, and she joined Saxton & Stump as one of the first attorneys in our downtown Philadelphia office.
Young has more than a decade of experience in the legal profession and focuses her practice on supporting the firm’s litigation team writing briefs and preparing motions. She has held five judicial clerkships in three jurisdictions, two of which were for district judges in the U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina, including serving as career clerk to the Hon. Margaret B. Seymour (Ret.). Additionally, she worked in private practice and as a legal editor for the international news service Bloomberg Bureau of National Affairs. She also worked as an attorney advisor for U.S. Probation and Pretrial Services for the U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina. Young is a graduate of the University of South Carolina School of Law.
