Lane E. Brody, Esq.
Senior Counsel
Lane E. Brody, Esq. is Senior Counsel in Saxton & Stump’s Trucking and Commercial Transportation Group and is also a member of the firm’s Commercial Litigation Group. For close to 20 years, Lane has served clients by quickly and diligently evaluating claims in order to make informed decisions on litigation strategies while keeping his client’s best interests as his main focus. He concentrates his practice on the defense of commercial motor vehicles and their insurers as well as a variety of clients in civil litigation matters including general liability and subrogation.
Prior to joining Saxton & Stump, Lane was an attorney with a Harrisburg-based firm. Prior to that, he worked for several large Philadelphia law firms. He has taken and defended hundreds of depositions of every type of witness, ranging from plaintiffs and defendants to expert doctors, economists, vocationalists, engineers and accident reconstructionists. Lane has been successful in civil jury trials on behalf of Fortune 500 companies and small businesses alike in both the state and federal courts in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Additionally, he has resolved hundreds of cases at mediations, arbitrations, and matters in the Magisterial District Courts throughout the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
Lane has frequently been named a “Pennsylvania Rising Star” by Super Lawyers and Law & Politics Magazine. His desire to assist and defend those in need began while working at a local nursing home throughout his high school years, working with disadvantaged youth during college, then at a law clinic and at the Dauphin County Bar Association during law school. Through these life experiences, he developed a passion for defending the rights of those in need, both individuals and companies alike.
He currently resides in Central Pennsylvania with his wife and daughter. In his free time, Lane enjoys spending time with his family and friends, fishing, skiing and cooking up new creations.
